FNF vs Doraemon

FNF vs Doraemon is a Friday Night Funkin' mod that follows Boyfriend's unexpected journey through time, leading to more than twenty songs against Doraemon and familiar characters from the classic anime. The adventure gradually shifts from cheerful performances to intense horror inspired battles. Take on every week and discover how the story changes with each new song.

A Time Travel Adventure That Takes A Dark Turn

Story Progression

The story of FNF vs Doraemon begins when Boyfriend discovers a time machine and accidentally travels to the past, where he meets Doraemon and Nobita. Early songs such as Tutobita and Rhythm keep the atmosphere light, reflecting the cheerful tone associated with the series. As the campaign moves forward, tracks like Wake Up and Exterminator introduce a dramatic change. Doraemon loses control, his appearance becomes increasingly disturbing, and the later weeks replace the friendly setting with darker scenes.

Rhythm Challenge

The later half of the mod introduces several mechanics that make each performance more demanding. Health Drain continuously reduces the life bar whenever Doraemon sings, forcing much more accurate note timing than the earlier songs. Screen distortion, camera shaking, and warped arrow effects appear during major battles, making note patterns harder to follow.

Music Journey

The soundtrack in FNF vs Doraemon follows the same progression as the story instead of keeping one musical style throughout the campaign. The opening weeks use brighter melodies that resemble classic anime themes, while later tracks gradually introduce techno elements and heavier electronic sounds. By the time songs such as Purgatory, Shredder, and Dorathan arrive, the adventure has fully transformed into a horror themed rhythm battle.
