FNF Corruption Takeover is a rhythm game inspired by Friday Night Funkin’, taking players into a world where the “Corruption” virus spreads and consumes everything. When Boyfriend and Girlfriend fall into the vortex of darkness, music becomes the only way to fight against the decay. Get ready to embark on a dark musical journey!

Special Mechanics in the Mod

FNF Corruption Takeover is built on the inspiration of the “DEATHMATCH” version of Corruption/Evil Mod, but improved with many new elements. This is not just an expansion but a fanmade re-imagining, developed by the community with the spirit of “from fans – for fans”.

Notable Mechanics:

Corruption Effect: Characters gradually deform as the song progresses, shown by changes in skin color, eyes and reaction speed.
Evolving Melody: The soundtrack changes with each battle phase – starting slowly, then becoming chaotic and twice as fast.
Playable DeathMatch: Allows the player to control Boyfriend or Corruption Daddy Dearest to experience both sides of the battle.

Fail & Retry System

Unlike the usual FNF games, FNF Corruption Takeover introduces a scripted failure mechanic. When the player loses, the game not only stops, but also turns into a simulation of Boyfriend being completely consumed by Corruption. After each failure, a dark effect appears, the sound is distorted, and the character's heartbeat is heard.
