One Sunday night, the old arcade machine in Daddy Dearest’s basement comes to life in FNF: Salty’s Sunday Night, trapping lost souls. You will help Salty find a way out using rhythm and music. Get ready to join this mysterious journey now!
FNF: Salty’s Sunday Night is a completely remastered mod of Friday Night Funkin’, featuring brand new graphics, songs, characters, and story. The entire game consists of 6 weeks with 19 songs, each week with its own style of theme and music.
The setting takes place in the old arcade machine in the basement, where trapped souls wake up every Sunday night. Players take on the role of Salty, the last soul to regain his memories and try to escape the endless loop. The game’s soundtrack is a “soda pop” inspired, bright but nostalgic mix of remixes and catchy electronic beats. Some of the highlights include:
The story is told through several short cutscenes, showing Salty’s journey to discover the origin of the curse in the machine and the encounter between the souls who were imprisoned.
FNF: Salty’s Sunday Night was developed by Tsuraran, who took on most of the project’s work from composition, programming, to visual design.
