Friday Night Funkin' vs Big Brother is a musical rhythm game that unfolds a profound story about family, memories, and redemption. In this comeback, Boyfriend and his brother Big Brother, who seems to have been lost, have a tense rap battle. Will music be enough to heal old wounds and bring brothers back together?

Story Setting and Visual Design

Week 1 – The Apartment of Silence

The first meeting happens in a small apartment with a dusty window that lets in light. A feeling of suffocation spreads when Boyfriend notices his brother's empty eyes. The music plays, slowly then explodes, expressing the conflict between memory and reality.

Week 2 – The Rooftop Storm

After many years apart, the two confront each other once again in the pouring rain. The drums blend with the thunder, the neon lights reflect on the cold, wet roof. Big Brother no longer has the familiar red hat, only the wound on his chest and an angry look.

Special Mechanics

Player Switch: in Always Here, the player plays as Big Brother instead of Boyfriend.
Ghost Notes: appear in Worry, causing vision to be obscured.
Damage Notes: if touched, the health bar will decrease rapidly.
Warning Notes: in Survive, the player must press the right time to avoid bullets from Armaros, just one beat late and you will fail immediately!
“F Mode” is the ultimate challenge, where just one wrong note will end Friday Night Funkin' vs Big Brother immediately.
