MineFun.io: Fluid Block Movement

MineFun.io is a multiplayer sandbox game inspired by the familiar block world. But in this version, the game focuses on movement, rhythm, and interaction in each mode. In addition, the game allows for a complete shift in control feel when transitioning from parkour to PvP, and then to creative modes.

Movement-Based Movement Analysis

Parkour Mode

In parkour maps, the pace of movement is almost constant. Changing terrain forces players to maintain a steady speed instead of taking safe jumps. A single misstep can cause loss of momentum, while going too fast can lead to slips; every decision is made in an instant.

War Mode (PvP)

Combat spaces are often narrow, making slow reaction times a clear disadvantage. Players must maintain a steady pace of movement to dodge attacks, aim accurately, and control distance. Here, movement isn't about reaching the target but about gaining a better position than the opponent.

Hide and Seek Mode

Movement is more about distraction than speed. Sudden changes of direction or standing still at the wrong time can cause the seeker to miss important details. An extra step can sometimes be a "betrayal" of your position.

Creative Mode

Slow movement pace allows for precise observation and aiming. Without time pressure, players can utilize their perspective and available space to build and experiment with layouts before placing blocks.
