Sorry Bob: A Nightmare Surgery Simulator

Sorry Bob is a first-person surgery simulator game with a deliberately difficult style. Here, you play as Nigel Burke – a "doctor" with no expertise but still having to operate on patient Bob. Instead of precise movements like in typical medical games, every movement in Sorry Bob is clumsy, off-target, and difficult to control. The feeling of playing is more like a nightmare than a surgery: shaky hands, slipping instruments, constantly dropping blood.

Besides the challenging element, the game is also appealing thanks to extremely funny "fail" situations: clamps slipping, hammers hitting the wrong spot, or just a wrong hand rotation causing chaos. This deliberate clumsiness makes each level unpredictable, forcing players to concentrate intensely while laughing continuously. The more you play, the more you want to try again to do better, optimize every small action, and conquer the surgery in the neatest way possible.

Controls and Mechanics

In Sorry Bob, you control only one hand hovering above the patient. Each level requires organ transplantation or replacement within a time limit.

  • A / W / E / R / Space: controls each finger
  • Mouse: moves the hand
  • Left click: lowers the hand to grasp
  • Right click: rotates the wrist

Tips To Survive Longer

  • Move slowly: quick movements can easily cause tools to fall
  • Prioritize gripping firmly before pulling
  • Stay calm when health drops: panic = continuous mistakes
  • Practice using each finger instead of spamming keys
