SPRUNKY: A Music System Built Around Characters

SPRUNKY is a fan mod developed based on the Scratch Incredibox Sprunky project. The game uses a character system to create sounds, where each character represents a unique rhythm, melody, or effect element. There are a total of 20 characters, allowing players to combine many different sound layers within the same piece of music.

Themes and Visual Changes

SPRUNKY offers two distinct themes: classic and horror. Switching between the two themes isn't based on complex menus but is directly tied to a specific character. When the character wearing the black hat is used, the entire sound and visual atmosphere shifts to a horror style.

Themed changes include:

Character colors and expressions
The feel of the sound when playing rhythms and effects
The overall atmosphere of the mix being created

How Music Is Created During Play

At the start, players select characters and add them to the choir. Each character, when activated, will emit a rhythmic, looping sound. Players can turn each character on or off at any time, thereby adjusting the musical structure in real time.
