Block Blast challenges players to fit colorful shapes into an 8×8 grid and clear complete lines for points. This relaxing puzzle game rewards smart placement and careful planning as the board gradually fills up.

Master the 8×8 Puzzle Grid

Each round of Block Blast presents three block shapes that must be placed onto the board. Completing a horizontal row or vertical column removes its blocks and creates space for new pieces. Once all three shapes have been used, another set appears. The pieces cannot be rotated, making their position especially important when available space becomes limited. Clearing multiple lines can produce valuable score bonuses, while the game ends when a required piece can no longer fit.

Building Bigger Combos

Scoring becomes more rewarding when players clear several lines through carefully connected placements. Filling a nearly complete row while preparing a neighboring column can create opportunities to remove multiple lines with one piece. The key is balancing immediate points against the space needed for upcoming shapes. An open board often provides more flexibility than one filled with scattered gaps.

Why Block Placement Order Matters

• Check the largest piece first: Find a suitable position for the bulkiest shape before using smaller blocks.
• Use small pieces strategically: Fill narrow spaces that larger shapes cannot occupy.
• Create room before committing: Complete a nearly finished line when it opens space for another piece in the current set.
• Consider all three placements: A shape that fits now might block the only available position for the next one.
• Preserve flexible areas: Keep connected empty cells that can accommodate several different shapes.

How to Play

Use the mouse or touchscreen to drag a block from the available selection onto an empty area of the grid. Place all three pieces to receive the next set, complete rows or columns to clear space, and continue building your score until no valid placement remains.
