FNF: Hyp Mix gives eight familiar Friday Night Funkin' songs a fresh musical identity, with a quirky white character named Hyp taking Boyfriend's place. Created by hypsk8r, this remix mod features redesigned character artwork, new arrangements, and rhythm battles against classic FNF opponents.

Familiar Songs with a New Sound

The v0.5 demo of FNF: Hyp Mix focuses on Freeplay, allowing players to select individual remixes directly. Hyp becomes the playable singer, while Midy replaces Girlfriend. Familiar locations return throughout the collection, including Daddy Dearest's stage, the spooky setting of Skid and Pump, and Senpai's pixel-art world. Each encounter retains its recognizable opponent while introducing Hyp's distinctive appearance and vocals.

Rhythm Difficulty

All eight tracks in FNF: Hyp Mix are available on Hard, with a combined duration of approximately 12 minutes and 46 seconds. Most songs maintain a moderate note density of around 2.5–4 notes per second, although demanding passages in High and Ugh can reach approximately 11 notes per second. These faster sections make recognizing note patterns particularly important, especially for players already familiar with the original arrangements.

How to Play

Open Freeplay and select a Hyp Mix song to begin. Press the Arrow Keys when matching notes reach their targets, holding the corresponding key for sustained notes. Maintain accurate timing to protect the health bar and complete each performance. Replaying individual tracks helps players recognize unfamiliar remix patterns and improve their accuracy.
