GAMEPLAY: MORE THAN JUST HITTING NOTES

FNF Sonic The Funk keeps the core rhythm system but adds movement and interaction throughout each song. Notes still arrive in sync with the music, yet performance also depends on how well players manage rings and react to events happening on screen.

Rings act as a life system. Taking hits or missing inputs reduces them, while successful actions help maintain control. When rings drop, they scatter across the stage and must be collected quickly before disappearing. Losing all rings puts the run at risk immediately.
