The main objective in Verity Lab Escape is not simply finding an exit. Progress depends on exploring different parts of the facility, collecting useful items, completing objectives, and gaining access to areas that can move you closer to freedom.

Darkness makes navigation part of the challenge. A flashlight helps you search rooms and recognize important routes, but knowing where you have already been becomes increasingly valuable. In particular, remembering nearby lockers and safe paths can make the difference once exploration suddenly changes into a chase.

Chase Mode

Failing to manage Verity can trigger the most dangerous part of Verity Lab Escape. Once the chase begins, fighting back is not your solution. Verity actively hunts through the facility, forcing you to break contact and find somewhere to hide until its aggression settles.

The safest approach is to treat each calm period as preparation. Complete the current objective, note nearby hiding spots, and keep track of the route back. When Verity changes, you already know where to go instead of searching for safety under pressure.

Controls

Verity Lab Escape uses standard first-person controls, giving you separate actions for exploration, interaction, and escaping during a chase.

• WASD / Arrow Keys: Move forward, backward, left, or right.
• Left Shift: Sprint when you need to create distance from Verity.
• Space: Jump over obstacles.
• E / Left Mouse Button: Interact with doors, keys, items, lockers, and other usable objects.
• Ctrl / C: Crouch to move through low spaces or stay quieter.
• Mouse: Look around and control the camera.
